Our Story

The Treehouse Design Lab is not a loft with white walls where people in white dresses design glossy products, but a craft room where new paths can be taken. A tree house means adventure, being outside, doing things together, discovering new stuff, but also a place of retreat and space for free thought.
A tree house however also means a lot of work, both individually and as a team, it means sweat, tears as well as success, pride in what has been achieved and a journey to new shores!

Andreas and Immi both studied product design and started their professional careers at the German outdoor brand Jack Wolfskin. They continued their careers mainly under the umbrella of FOND OF, where they were responsible for the design and development of school bags for all age groups (ergobag, Satch & Affenzahn), as well as fashion and travel brands. 
Since its foundation on January 1, 2022, the Treehouse Design Lab has established itself as a specialized design service provider, especially for backpacks and luggage. Our international customers include brands from the outdoor, hunting and sports sectors, as well as market leaders in school bags and bicycle accessories.
